Agreement

These terms govern your use of investinginai.pro (the “site”), operated by Investing in AI LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Not investment advice

Everything on the site is for research, education and general information. Nothing on it is investment, financial, legal, tax or accounting advice, and nothing is a recommendation or offer to buy, sell or hold any security. We do not know your circumstances, and the site does not take them into account. Make your own decisions, and consult a licensed professional where appropriate.

Company pages, the AI stack map, reports, the glossary and the board guide describe what companies disclose in their filings. They do not value any security or predict its price. Our editorial standards and disclosures, including the roles of the people behind the site, are set out on the editorial standards page.

The AI Signal Gauge is a prototype

The AI Signal Gauge is a research prototype. Its public demonstration uses fictional companies with tickers that belong to no real listing, and illustrative figures; demonstration ratings are not ratings of any real company. Real-company evidence pages show filing evidence without a rating. The gauge’s methods are still being tested and may change.

Accuracy and sources

Figures on the site are computed from companies’ filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and quoted from those filings where stated. We work to get them right and correct errors when we find them, but filings can be amended, data can be misread, and figures can be out of date between refreshes. The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Check the original filings before relying on any figure.

Who owns what

The site’s text, design, charts, software and the Investing in AI name and logo are owned by Investing in AI LLC or its licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. The book Investing in AI: Six Mental Models to Tell Moats from Traps is the work of Rob May. Company names and trademarks belong to their owners; we use them only to identify the companies discussed.

Our datasets and charts are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 (CC BY-NC 4.0), with an additional grant for editorial use (news, commentary, research and teaching, including in commercial publications), on the terms and with the credit set out on the press page. Any other use, including in products, paid services or for resale, needs a commercial licence from us.

Acceptable use

You may read, share links to and quote reasonable excerpts from the site with credit. You may not copy substantial parts of it outside the licence above, scrape it in a way that burdens the service, attempt to access the private review pages without a valid link, interfere with the site’s security or operation, or use it for anything unlawful. You may not present our analysis or figures as your own or imply that we endorse you.

Links to other sites

The site links to SEC EDGAR, Substack and other websites we don’t control. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices; their own terms and policies apply.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Investing in AI LLC and the people behind it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, investment losses or loss of data, arising from your use of or reliance on the site, even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify Investing in AI LLC against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where the law of your place of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept it. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Questions about these terms can be sent through the inquiry form.
